Having had spots for a very long time I have tried many different treatments for them and this has to be one of the best I have come across!! It may seem quite pricey but as another review said given the amount of money spent on treatments over the years this is money well spent. Personally this device worked very well for me and I would recommend this to anyone who suffers from spots.

I was very dubious about this product when I first ordered it as there was only one other review for it on amazon, but having read a few reviews on other websites I decided to bite the bullet and buy it. I have suffered from terrible acne since my teens and always dreaded waking up and feeling a massive zit under the skin, knowing that it would be huge by the end of the day, which seems to happen when I have a special occasion coming up. This product definitely works, you press it against the skin where you feel a spot coming and press on and the light flashes for about 10sec and gets slightly warm. You repeat this once. I found this was fantastic, the spot didn't grow anymore! and actually started to shrink. You might have to repeat the treatment a few times over the next couple of days but it definitely prevents spots coming to a head and therefore prevents the unsightly redness and scaring which goes with them. I know its very expensive but when I add up how much I have spent on other acne lotions etc over just a year then the no! no! is definitely very cost effective. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has moderate to severe acne, not just the odd pimple. I only wish it was invented years ago!

I really rate this product. I have a pituitary disease and my hormones are mostly artificially provided by drugs. One of them increases oils and congestion around the chin area, giving rise to whiteheads, blackheads, big lumps deep down which slowly and painfully emerge as well as acne patches. They have been more controlled with this product. Instead of two weeks of large pulsing lumps which take forever to go, then I find using twice a day the spots and lumps go within 3/4 days. I find the unit tip does get hot when using, so I tend to do three areas , stop and clean my teeth for example, do another three areas etc. It is simple to use, clear signals given when in use, just recharge after each use. It doesn`t take long either. No refills to purchase. Worth every penny.

I have been using the Lumie Clear Device for my adult acne for 8 weeks. I am 38 and have suffered from mild - moderate acne since my mid 20's. I have tried lots of things over the years such as retin a, proactiv, salicylic acid, birth control pills, various creams and lotions all with little of no effect (With the exception of Roaccutane which did completely clear up my skin, but gave me anxiety attacks for a further 3 years and made my hair really thin so I wouldnt risk taking them again. Always the optimist and willing to try anything to improve my skin I signed up for a 12 week trial of the Lumie and boy am I glad that I did !! My worst areas are my forehaed and right lower cheek/chin so have used the Lumie pressed right up against my skin on each of these areas for 15 mins daily. It has a timer and automatically switches off when the recommended time of 15 mins is over, which is good as Ive fallen asleep a few times with it resting on my forehead. I have been using the Lumieclear machine for 7 weeks now, for at least 15mins directly on the skin. I use babywipes to clean the surface of the machine. After years being on antibiotics to treat spot outbreaks with varying degrees of success, I thought I would give a herbal treatment a try. As someone who suffers with oily skin this supplement claims to regulate the sebaceous glands and thus stop spot outbreaks, which is exactly the kind of treatment I am looking for. I have been using this for about 2 months in combination with my normal external skin treatment of tea tree face wash etc.. I thought I would trial these tablets for 6 months and see if there is a noticeable improvement. I have to say so far, since taken them for 2 months, my skin has been a lot clearer with much fewer breakouts. Whilst it is too early to say whether this is due to the tablets or not,I am definately going to perserve with them as I feel they may be doing me some good.

I don't have acne all over my face, just the odd breakout. Occasionally, however, I seem to get fairly large patches of skin coloured bumps under my skin which stay for months without actually coming out. About a year ago I went to the Doctor and he suggested I buy this gel (much cheaper here than on prescription) as it is used to peel the skin and the reason for these bumps is likely to be that my skin is not renewing itself enough. I used the gel and got an immediate effect, the skin certainly starts peeling, bumps come to the surface and disappear and then the drying starts. I would suggest using this not more than once a day, as the leaflet advises, as it really does get straight to work and after about a week of applications my skin is sorted, albeit now quite dry. The texture of your skin whilst using it is likely to be a little rough while it sorts itself out, but this quickly goes so don't panic!

This is incredibly effective, and considering how dry it makes your skin I recommend using the weaker ones, as statistically they are no less effective than the strong ones. Warning though this stinks, I use the alcoholic one on my face and what's left of this one on my back because it smells very unpleasant. Great results, my skin has never looked better, although it is a little less smooth, spots are almost gone, and the ones left are much reduced.

Ive been using this for a few days and I have to admit, my spots have decreased a little. I suffer from acne and as a teen I try and get rid of it as quick as possible. However, I also took this as well as prescribed tablets called Tetracycline. My skin has now resulted in discolouration and my face is swollen. I believe this to be cause by my combination of tablets and cream. My face is incrediably dry now and I have found out that it is called Postinflammitory Hyperpigmentation. Its a temporary scar and consists of prominant dark/red patches around my skin. It is a big annoyance and I actually think its worse than the acne I had to start with. It is a good treatment, but DO NOT USE if you are on tablets and DO NOT use other combinations of products as well as this one x

This cream works.! I have suffered from acne on,and off since my teens.I used it, and my face the next morning was very red and inflamed looking. However I persisted and the second morning looked in the mirror and was faced with an image of redness and ooozing cr*p from the zits.Third morning the same but I could actually see that no more zits were developing and some of the original ones were shrinking. The fourth night I did not use any, as I thought enough change was taking place and the redness was a tad alarming. However the next morning I could definately see a huge change in the way my dreaded zits were looking. Now my face is calming down and I can see that all the dead and useless cr*p that is supposed to be the top layer of skin is going, and fresh new skin is able to make itself known and without any zits! I love this cream. I am feeling much better within myself psychologically and obviously physically. I have planned to carry on using this cream on my zits and when all zits have gone, maybe use it once a week or so depending on results. The one thing I would say is treat with caution but do persevere with it. You may want to hide away for a few days while it does its thing on you.... but the results are well worth it ! Acne can be debilitating and very stressful to any who suffer from it. I know from experience. I want to shout about my sucess with Panoxyl from the roof tops.

I would not recommend this product,it is very small so if you need to apply to anything more than the tinniest of areas it is going to be a very long job.It has not so far given me anything like the results i would like,glad i did not pay anymore for this product

I was concerned that a 10% benzoyl peroxide wash would be too harsh but this doesn't seem to be the case. I use it once daily, at night, and after 10 days use I think I can say that it helps control acne. Probably most suitable if you have mild acne or are incorporating it into a wider acne fighting regimen.

bought this product from amazon great for mild acne takes the grease from the skin as well but beware it will bleach clothes so when you wash with it in the morning make sure it does not go near any garments.
